Hello and welcome to

Our children come from all over the world and all our team members speak several languages.

An important part of our concept is to teach our kids English, German and Estonian from the very beginning to prepare them very well for their future life.

The idea behind our name is, to keep or create the "spark" in the eyes of children!

Our big house has plenty of safe space in- and outdoors to play, learn and have fun. It is located in a quiet, green & healthy living area just 15 min from Tallinn city centre.

Family-style Kindergarten
All children become part of our own family. Effectively they "swap" families - from their own one to ours. This gives them security and a homely feeling. Together we learn in small groups of up to 10 children all that is needed to become a "big" boy or girl, ready to go to school when it is time.

Nature pure:

Every day we spent a lot of time outdoors. This is a lot of fun and good for our immune system, too.

Activity Days
On Tuesdays we have our activity day, where we do different projects like baking bread or cookies, or making jam from our own garden fruits.

We also plan trips to interesting sites like the Zoo, Fire Station or Police Office for our Foxes.

Two Groups: Explorers and Foxes
Our Explorers are children from 1,5 up to 3 years. They are having a lot of fun and learn useful skills during guided play, following the Estonian pre-school guidelines for 1-3 year old children. Additionally we also learn in an informal way a few words every day in a foreign language, using the infusion method (e.g. talking to them naturally).

Our Foxes are children from age 3 to 7. Every day we offer to them short learning sessions following the Estonian pre-school guidelines for each individual age to prepare them very well for school start. The program is delivered either in Estonian or English, depending on the preferences of their parents. 

 

In addition Foxes can take part in formal learning sessions for German and English, each once a week.

For our educational program we have researched many concepts and collected the elements we find most suitable. We put great emphasis on learning through discovery in a supportive and fun environment. We adapt our learning sessions to the children - not vice versa. Key is that they grow up in an environment that gives them plenty of opportunities to learn and develop, either in free play or guided by our teachers.

Healthy food prepared by our own Chef!
All our meals are freshly prepared on-site to make sure that our children have all necessary building blocks to grow well and stay healthy. We use only ingredients that have a minimal number of preservatives, if at all, and are as fresh as possible. Margarine and hydrogenated fats are banned from our ingredient list.

 

Useful routines instead of rigid rules
To make sure that we can all enjoy our time together, we have adopted certain routines that will also be useful later in life. This includes hand washing before and after meals, regular teeth brushing, sitting together at the table during meal times, and keeping our kindergarten tidy.

We give our children stability and treat them as individuals. This way they can develop their self-confidence, which is key to their later success in life.
